Little Green Men Have Landed on The F-Word! Guess Who's Coming to Dinner!
If you watched the F-Word Final at Claridge’s you’ll have seen that a Little Green Man Landed on the F-Word!
The Force Was Strong in Lancashire!
The Lancashire lasses won, and there was a host of celebs: Sarah Beeny, Janet Street-Porter, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Ricky Gervais and of course Johnny Vegas.
F-Word Cook-Off
Johnny Vegas was in the celebrity cook-off with Gordon. I tasted their pizza’s, and give the lad credit, far from a Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmare, I have to say that Johnny’s was very good! In fact he was on the next table to me, so I told him, and we had a right royal laugh – he’s just like he is on TV!
 F-Word Final MENU
I have in my possession a menu from the F-Word Final at Claridge’s signed by the illustrious Mr Gordon Ramsay himself, a real collectors item ! Interestingly the menu is made from reconstituted sheep droppings, handmade by Gordon’s wife and kiddies !
Gordon Ramsay’s F-Word Final at Claridge’s
Great venue at Claridge’s; it looks and feels like London’s best. The food was good, the day was interspersed with hospitality, chatting to my fellow food-tasters and meeting the lamb man, Dr Sarah and not forgetting good ol’ Lord George! – all of whom I would like to say a big hand-waggly hello to – we are going to meet up at Chilli Acres for a Reunion! TV production crew were pretty sharp too, its some going to get an hours high quality footage from only a days filming – I’d work with them anytime.
Ramsay’s Like a No7 Bus
I actually met Gordon twice in a week – at the F-Word and then up here at a great restaurant that I can’t tell you about either!! (ssshhh!.... http://www.highwaymaninn.co.uk ) What I can tell you is he is a decent bloke, gets his shoots in one take, quite charming and as BIG as a house! I know some chefs who have worked for him in the past and they say the same thing.
Chance Meetings
I find myself in the most amazing places as I travel the chilli lined streets of Britain. Increasingly I happen across people who offer me wonderful things – this is pretty much how Little Green Products are conceived and born ! And it happened again at the F-Word, where I met someone who is now doing a little research for me, and we should have something to report very soon!
Something For The Memoirs
I had a jolly good time at the F-Word, thanks to all, and as per usual I had some bizarre experiences leading up to it, and certainly after I left Claridge’s - which I’ll save for another time! ...and a mention in despatches - many thanks to the security dude from Claridge's and to Ron the Taxi.
