You see when we used to work in the cotton mills for our glorious overlords, they would stagger the holidays or downtime of production by segmenting geographically defined areas in terms of holidays, and mill workers would receive their annual 2 week summer holiday or 'wakes weeks' (works weeks colloquially) around the month of July.  White HOT! at Whitecross St Chilliots Drought July generally proves to be far from dry in terms of rainfall, but we’ve had a seasonal shortage of chilliots…..and then…..
